Goat Flower Farm raises Myotonic “Fainting” Goats on their farm in Lancaster County, PA. Many are dual registered with both the International Fainting Goat Association and the Myotonic Goat Registry. Owner Carol Ellis produces superior quality animals with lots of color perfect for the show pen or backyard companions. Carol has provided Jargan Farm with a wealth of information and encouragement.
Slate Brook Farm is located in Western New York, Allegany County. Slate Brook Farm has been breeding Myotonic goats 2005 . SBF selected their herd from breeders across the United States allowing expansion and development of high quality breeding herd. SBF maintains a closed herd and does not cross breed in an effort to preserve the future of the traditional myotonic goat. Jargan Farm’s first goats were from Slate Brook Farm’s quality stock.
Duffy Fainting Goat Farm was established in 2010 with two bucks, three does, and a wether. Since then, Jason and Christina Duffy have grown a quality herd of nearly 60 Myotonic goats. Their bucks are well known with many awards. The Duffys also breed Great Pyrenees and Great Bernese (Great Pyrenees and Bernese Mountain Dog mix) as effective livestock guardian dogs. Jargan Farm’s guardian dog Pastor is from the Duffy farm.
Van Noble Farm’s primary work is farrowing and finishing hogs in a pasture-based system using non-GMO grains. Van Noble Farm was established in 2012 and uses heritage genetics to produce high-quality, pastured pork. Van Noble Farm owner, Devon Van Noble, is Jargan Farm’s neighbor and good friend. Devon has helped with many Jargan Farm activities and improvements.

Jim Utter with Utter Well Water Drilling Service in Lodi, New York, provides well drilling and other related business services. Jim advised Jargan Farm on installing water to our animal barn and growing fields. Jim goes out of his way to provide thoughtful and personal customer service. All our work was completed timely and under budget.
